The National Campus Film Fest wants you to make a film.
Making a film is a fun thing to do and pretty much everyone should do it sometime in their life - so why not now?! We're not that interested in super-polished, broadcast-quality stuff, we just want people to come up with an idea, grab a camera and get busy!
On the right hand side coulumn, you can download basic information about Film Writing, Film Shooting and Film Editing and see a great example of the Film Festival in the past.
You can make your film about anything you want to; it can be funny, it can be sad, it can be crazy, it can be whatever you feel like doing. It doesn't matter if it's an animation or a documentary or some new type of filmmaking that you've invented yourself, we'll love anything you come up with! Just try to keep it to a G rating
If you've never made a film before, then now is a good time to start, it really is a worthwhile experience. If you have made a film before, then feel free to cut loose, be bold and make something new!
How To Do It
The National Campus Film Fest is a celebration of creativity (not of who can make the most professional-looking final product), and the films span all genres from animation and experimental to drama, comedy and documentaries. Films are judged on their entertainment value and originality rather than their technical brilliance.
Although there is only one category in the Film Fest, there may be prizes for the following:
"The Grand Fester" - overall winner - Film Fest
"Most off the Planet" - weirdest / wacky / fun
"Peoples Choice Award" - voted internationally through You Tube...
